My favorite team is the New York Mets because my father was born in New Jersey and as a child he was a New York Mets fan. Ever since my father introduced me to baseball I have always loved the game, I will never stop enjoying it.
My favorite player of all time is Jacob Degrom. He so far has won two CY Youngs and is currently one of the best pictures in the game. Some of my other favorite players are Brandon Nimmo, Himenez, Steven Mats, Jeff Mcneil, Michael Conforto, Amed Rosario, Seth Lugo, and Dominic Smith. All of these players are my favorite because of their work ethnic and team like sportsmanship.
Although the Mets record this season is 18-22 they are still my favorite team. They have one of the highest team batting averages in all of baseball and have a decent bullpen which is most of the time reliable.
Even though the mets got to a very slow start this season they still have one of the best offences in the game and pretty good fielders, because of this, this makes me and other people believe that the Mets will make it to the Playoffs.
They need to improve the amount of RBI per game if they want to win more games, they also need to improve their starting pitching.
The Mets this year hit the ball very well and have scored runs in dire situations. They also work well as a team and always help each other out even when things are tough for them.
